What is your favorite….?
High school or prom song
“Forever Young” by Alphaville. Having graduated from high school in 1987 and approaching 50 in a couple years, it's just a great song to always keep top of mind! I like not acting my age when I don't need to!
"Kryptonite" by 3 Doors Down. This song makes me feel strong and unstoppable! It also makes me think about friends and fmaily who always have my back in both good and bad times, which is very important to me.
“These Are the Days” by 10,000 Maniacs. This song makes me realize how good we have it and that you can't take ANYTHING or ANYONE for granted!
Guilty pleasure song
“Just a Dream” by Nelly. Why? I like dreaming! Dreams rock!
Song about a city
"Empire State of Mind" by Jay Z and Alicia Keys. It just pumps me -- and anyone around me -- up! (love that!) I also love this song for the line "concrete jungle where dreams are made of; there's nothing you can't do." I love believing that.
Song from a movie
“Footloose” by Kenny Loggins. To be honest, there are so many to choose from, so I just went out on a limb and chose this one. I simply like to work hard and play harder! The lyrics in this song just makes me realize you really gotta cut loose and let loose every now and again. Life is too short! Gotta live it up and when everyone does, it's just more fun.
