Cross-Train And Your Body Will Thank You

You’ve found a cardio exercise you actually like, and thanks to countless indoor cycling classes or miles logged on the treadmill, you feel like you’re actually in decent shape!  Maybe your pants are even a little loose and you’ve shed a few pounds.  But wait: why have you plateaued?

What happens when you add another exercise to your regime?  How is your flexibility?  Are you sore from a basic push-up?  Are you surprised, like many people, when you realize you’re not as “fit” as you thought? 

The moral of the story is fitness isn’t mastering just one exercise or activity.  As tempting as it is to stick with an exercise you like or feel you’re good at, it’s time to mix it up in order to get results.  Cross-training is crucial for your overall fitness and reaching your goals.
