What are three things in your purse / gym bag that you cannot live without?
1. Angel cards - I take them everywhere! They are like a best friend with helpful advice and guidance anytime you need.
2. Snacks - I love having my go-to homemade snacks or trail mix on hand to keep energy up and hunger down!
3. Music - I believe there is a song for every feeling! I have a "lift me higher" playlist on my phone for daily inspiration and motivation!
What’s your best Halloween or theme ride costume?
Batgirl! I made it through the whole ride wearing the mask!
If you could have your favorite song lyrics tattooed on you, what would they be?
“I Lived,” by One Republic:
“I owned every second that this world could give;
I saw so many places the things that I did;
Yeah, with every broken bone;
I swear I lived!”
What is the best advice someone gave you?
“Sometimes, what you desire is deliberately placed out of your reach so that you can become the person it takes to obtain it.”
What would we be surprised to learn about you?
I was extremely shy as a child — and I had my tongue pierced in college!
What is your guilty pleasure?
Homemade cookie dough, hands down!
It’s 4 a.m. on a Saturday night. What do you eat?
Cookie dough. And if that's not possible, handfuls of dry cereal out of the box! (Thankfully I'm never up at 4 a.m.!)
Is there a charity that holds a special place in your heart?
I worked for Leukemia & Lymphoma Society after college, raising money as a participant and triathlon coach for Team in Training. I'm a fan of any organization that empowers health and wellness as a tool for building a awareness and support for patients and families!
